The Remedy

So right now, I'm a little glum. As to the reason why, nothing seems to come to mind. Nothing upsetting has really happened in past few weeks, so I can't seem to track down reasons. Nonetheless, here I am right now, blogging, trying to figure out why.

Exam dates have just arrived and technically, I'm slightly disappointed. My first paper is on the 10th and the last is on the 20th. Dad's just booked my flight back to the motherland for the 26th, so I've got 6 days in between to sit down and bum. The other Malaysian exchange students are trying to make plans to head to Hangzhou on the last few days before the flight to have a lil "holiday" fun. The ones heading to UK have to rush through everything since their last papers end later than mine, and yet, they need to be in UK on the 23rd.

I've officially bought all the tickets I need for my CNY break. Thus far, the plan goes as follows:

Leave Hangzhou on the 26th.
Stay in KL and then leave to Bangkok on the 7th of Feb.
Spend a week chilling and living the "Thai" life till the 15th of Feb, and then head off to meet my cousin, Temily, who I can't wait to spend time with.
Probably spend 2 days there and then go to Guangzhou to meet her boyfriend, Joseph.
Then, head off to Campus on the 19th/20th, depending on how keen I am on skipping my first day of classes.

It's definitely an exciting adventure looking ahead for me, as it will be my first time doing some major travelling, ALONE. I'm in love with the idea, but its making me completely broke. Thanks to some loan suggestions from my dad, I'm covered for now, but that just means that for the rest of 2011, I'll be using most of money to pay him back as well as come up with funds for the next Setafire camp in Thailand.

Ah, yes.

Here I go again, talking about things way before it even comes close to beginning. I speak about my travels for CNY when in a mere 16 days, I'll be back at home again, spending time with my favourite 3 people: mom, dad and good old jie. We spoke on skype a couple of days ago and discussed our diabolical plan of spending time with just the family. Didn't work so well since dad was never so interested in spending time with him immediate family. With much persuasion, we've worked out a schedule to fit in family time out of the 13 days I'll be home, taking into consideration the fact that there will be Winter School, the wedding as well as the entire extended family being in the country.

My parents are heading for India and are coming back on the 9th of Dec.
I return on the 1oth of Dec.
Jie returns on the 11th of Dec.

Funky schedule, huh? And we just couldn't get flights to arrive on the same day.

Lol.

Ta!
