Flyaways and Fireworks

And so once again, I have returned to my regular ignorance to all things blogger related. And now that I am finally alone, with time to spare, I guess this is the time to do this.

In China for more than a month now, I can proudly say that this country is growing on me. What used to be feelings of ultimate remorse has now been turned into pure joy. I have the other exchange students to thank for that. As to making friends, I have been unsuccessful thus far, but fret not. I guess some things takes more time.

To provide an elaborate explanation on how the campus in China is would be impossible. All I can say is that if you think the Malaysia Campus makes walking from one side to the other hard, China is ten times worse. Nonetheless, I absolutely love it. Classes are a bit of a nuisance considering that I have a 4 day week schedule, one of the days having classes for only an hour in the morning and another having classes that end at 6. Lecturers rant on as usual, some in languages I barely understand. Being the optimistic person I usually am, I take their lack of command in the English language a tool to amuse myself in class.

My social life in Ningbo has been surprisingly full. Through finding myself the other Baha'i's living nearby as well as spending loads of lepak time with the other exchange students, I hardly ever get bored. The clubbing scene is fairly decent, but then again those who really do know me would say that I was never the clubbing type to begin with.

As for now, I have returned to Shanghai for the National Holidays and have brought along the entire jing-bang with me. Being the tourist I should have been a long time ago, I can now say, I have been to Shanghai!

Next on the list? Sichuan!

And now, to indulge on some of my favorite pics over the past month:
