As the little tyke turns a year older

Finally, the feeling has hit me. Finally, the rush of emotions has come to me. Finally, I miss home.

And I owe this feeling to my beloved little one, Armand Jarrah Taraz.

Tomorrow marks his 2nd birthday, and my family did me the biggest favour of skyping me in whilst his birthday party was commencing. Themed "rainbows and soft-toys", I admired the effort put in by my fellow cousins to make his birthday another bash to remember. Flashing back to a year ago, I remember putting in the time to help decorate his cake and spending 2 hours decorating the place with tinsel and signs saying "happy birthday". I remember it well because it was a joyous occassion. Having the youngest of the Ramasamy clan to turn a year old is something we take pride in. The little boy has more love than any of us would ever dream of.

As I stared at my computer screen, watching him run back and forth through my aunt's living room, I realised that my family is truly where my heart is. My last blog entry would seem like a depressing one. But now, I can finally say, I do miss home.
