Beginning with breakfast, I had a simple dim sum session with my mother. We didn't talk much but I think its starting to turn into a tradition where she spends the morning with her daughters on their birthdays. It's nothing I'd go jumping around about, but to me I guess its at least worth mentioning.
Next, to pamper myself, I treated myself to a short manicure session. :) Straight after I drove off to meet my friend, Feera's place, and there she treated me to some sushi and a massage, one I so dearly appreciate. After that pampering session, I spent some time at Feera's house checking out youtube videos and playing around with the guitar. I had plenty of laughs and it really made me miss my college friends. I came home only to have my cousin, Joo Lee waiting for me. Forcing my friends to dress slightly snazzier than usual, we got ready to go out for a fancy dinner. With my friend, Mitharan and cousins, Praveena and Joo Lee, we went out to a gorgeous restaurant. They surprised me with a cake and everything. :) At least I got a cake, right?
After dinner and cake, we trooped to Connaught where we took a walk along the pasar malam. Sadly enough, I got a citation for my illegal parking. gah. Next, my sister and uncle met me and the rest of the gang at a shisha place where we of course, shisha-ed. My cousin stayed over that night and we had some fun sharing my single bed that kept breaking.
On another note, NEWS NEWS: I did well for my exams. Well, not "well", but good enough. So yes lady and gentlemen, you will soon see me packing my things and heading off to the oriental lands! Two months is what I have left, and I shall spend it by bringing my friends together to not only send myself off, but also my sister! Yes, she leaves around the same time I do and its kinda depressing to think that I won't have someone to fight with for 3 years. So yes, friends out there, if you're here in august, keep your time free!
